An Ideal Connect of Eastern India to the Rest of the World, CII(ER) in partnership with the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of West Bengal is organizing the second edition of BIZ BRIDGE, a B2B International Manufacturing and Engineering Exhibition and Conference at Salt Lake Stadium Helipad Ground, Kolkata from 16 to 19 December 2009.
”CII Eastern region has taken an initiative to project potential and opportunities in Eastern India to the rest of the world in several verticals and sectors like infrastructure, manufacturing, engineering, tourism, information technology, banking and finance, MSMEs and others. Biz Bridge 2009 would serve as a unique platform for business to business synergy through interaction, networking, exchange of ideas, product display, focused business presentation, live demonstrations, new development and innovation and showcasing of new technologies for all stakeholders like Manufacturers, Suppliers, Ancillaries, End-users, Government and the Industry.
The Second Edition of Biz Bridge would focus on some of the key growth engines of eastern region with dedicated sessions on Metals & Minerals, Power & Energy, MSME, Infrastructure, Railways & Wagon Building, International Linkages and Defence beside focused advantage state sessions said Dr. Mukherjee.

SKF inaugurated its first ‘SKF Solution Factory’ in India at Pune on 3rd November 2009. The new facility was inaugurated by the SKF Group President and CEO; Mr. Tom Johnstone and SKF India Managing Director; Mr. Rakesh Makhija.
