Pankaj Malhan takes charge as MD and CEO, while Parmod Sagar continues as Chairman.

HI Magnesita India is entering a
new phase of leadership with the
Rappointment of Pankaj Malhan as
Managing Director and Chief Executive
Officer, effective July 1, 2026. Parmod
Sagar, who previously held the combined
roles of Chairman, Managing Director
and CEO, will continue to guide the
company as Chairman of the Board.

The transition comes at a pivotal
moment for the refractory-solutions
company, whose products support high-
temperature operations across India’s
steel, cement, iron, glass and non-ferrous
metals industries. As industrial activity
and infrastructure development continue
to create demand for advanced materials,
the company is positioning itself for its
next chapter of growth under Malhan’s
executive leadership.
